Why does my NexiGo PJ40 have a brown or yellow spot in the middle?

This is a common fault in Single-LCD projectors known as 'LCD Burn'. The internal polarising film or the LCD panel itself has overheated and degraded due to dust blocking the cooling path. We replace the damaged optical components and clean the airflow system.

My Aurora Pro is shutting down with a heat warning. Why?

The Aurora Pro is a high-performance Triple Laser UST. It requires substantial cooling. If the rear or side vents are obstructed, or if an internal fan bearing fails, the system triggers a thermal shutdown to protect the expensive laser diodes.

Can you fix focus issues on the NexiGo PJ20?

Yes. Focus issues on portable models can be caused by physical misalignment of the lens barrel (often after a drop) or dust on the internal mirrors. We perform a full optical strip-down and realignment.

NexiGo offers two distinct technologies: **Single-LCD** for their portable/budget range and **Triple Laser (Tri-Color)** for the premium Aurora UST. Each requires specific expertise to repair correctly.

The "Brown Spot" Issue (PJ Series): LCD projectors work by passing powerful light through a liquid crystal display. If cooling fails, the polariser film literally burns. This manifests as a brownish-yellow discoloration in the centre of the screen. We strip the optical engine, clean the fresnel lenses, and install a new high-temp resistant LCD panel.

Aurora Pro Calibration: The Aurora Pro uses RGB lasers to achieve Dolby Vision standards. If the image appears misaligned or has colour fringing (red/green ghosts), the internal UST mirror array or laser banks need recalibration on an optical bench.
