JMGO Projector
Repair Centre
We are the UK's specialist repair centre for **JMGO**. From the revolutionary **N1 Ultra Gimbal** to the sleek **O1 Pro UST**, we restore the geometric precision and Tri-Color laser brilliance of your device.
Technician's Note:
"The JMGO **N1 Series** features a unique integrated gimbal stand. While versatile, the internal flex cables passing through the hinge are prone to wear, causing power loss or colour flickering if the unit is adjusted frequently. We specialise in re-cabling these complex gimbal mechanisms."

Mastering the MALIBU Engine
JMGO's proprietary **MALIBU Triple Laser** engine stacks Red, Green, and Blue lasers into a remarkably compact unit. This density creates unique thermal challenges. If cooling efficiency drops even slightly, the system will thermally throttle, reducing brightness significantly.
Laser Speckle Reduction: To combat the "shimmering" effect of laser light, JMGO uses a vibrating LSR (Laser Speckle Reduction) element. If this mechanical component fails, the image becomes grainy and distracting. We replace the LSR actuator to restore a smooth, cinematic picture.
Android TV & Auto-Setup: The seamless user experience relies on **ToF Sensors** and **Cameras** for auto-keystone and focus. Dust accumulation on these sensors causes the projector to "hunt" for focus or create a trapezoidal image. We recalibrate the sensor array and repair the logic board if boot loops occur.
MALIBU Laser
Calibration of the compact RGB laser stack for BT.2020 colour accuracy.
Gimbal Repair
Rewiring and tightening the friction hinges on N1 Ultra/Pro stands.
Auto-Focus
Cleaning and calibrating ToF sensors for instant image sharpness.
System Logic
Unbricking units stuck on the JMGO logo or with Wi-Fi faults.
JMGO Error Code Database
JMGO projectors communicate status via on-screen Android alerts and LED pulses. Use this matrix to identify your issue.
| Indicator / Message | Likely Fault | Engineer's Note |
|---|---|---|
| "High Temperature" Warning | Thermal Throttling | The unit is running too hot. On N1 models, check the intake vents on the base. If clear, the internal micro-fan has failed. The system reduces brightness to protect the laser. |
| Auto-Keystone Fails | ToF / Gyro Sensor | The projector cannot determine its angle or distance. The ToF sensor window may be dirty, or the internal gyroscope has drifted. Requires sensor calibration. |
| Stuck on JMGO Logo | OS Corruption / eMMC | The Android TV system cannot load. This indicates corrupted firmware (often after a power cut during update) or failed flash storage. We perform a hardware flash. |
| Image Flickers with Movement | Gimbal Flex Cable | Specific to the N1 series. The internal ribbon cable routing through the gimbal hinge has worn or pinched. Moving the projector causes signal loss or power cut. |
| White Dots on Screen | DMD Chip Failure | Dead pixels resembling stars. Caused by the 0.47" DMD chip overheating. We replace the chip and upgrade the thermal interface material. |
