Secure Projector Recycling
Ethical, WEEE-compliant disposal for education and enterprise. We turn your end-of-life assets into resources, not landfill.
Responsible Technology Disposal
The greater the strides we make in display technology, the more wanton we often become in our disregard for the environment. Projectors contain complex mixtures of materials—valuable metals like gold and copper, but also hazardous substances like mercury in high-pressure lamps and arsenic in older circuit boards.
The Legal Reality: Under the WEEE Directive (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), businesses and schools have a legal duty of care to ensure IT equipment is disposed of via an authorized treatment facility (ATF). Dumping projectors in general waste is illegal and environmentally catastrophic.
Our "Eco-First" Promise
We operate a strict 0% Landfill policy. Every unit we collect is either refurbished for second life (Remarketing) or dismantled into raw materials (Glass, Plastic, Ferrous Metals) for re-manufacturing.

From Collection to Certification
We maintain a secure audit trail for your assets from the moment they leave your premises.
Secure Logistics
We arrange collection via our own fleet or secure tracked couriers (DPD). Assets are tagged upon arrival at our secure facility.
Audit & Triage
Technicians assess each unit. Can it be repaired? If yes, it moves to 'Reuse'. If no, it moves to 'Recycle'. Serial numbers are logged.
Data Sanitization
For smart projectors, internal storage is wiped. Corporate asset tags and branding are physically removed to protect your identity.
Certification
You receive a 'Certificate of Destruction' and 'Waste Transfer Note' confirming legal compliance. Any remarketing rebates are processed.
Asset Re-Marketing: Turn Waste into Revenue
Not all "broken" projectors are trash. Often, a unit deemed end-of-life by a corporation simply needs a new DMD chip or optical clean to be viable for a charity or budget user.
If your old fleet holds residual value, we will offer a Buy-Back Rebate. We refurbish these units and resell them with a warranty, extending the product lifecycle and reducing the demand for new manufacturing.
- Offset the cost of new equipment
- Support the circular economy
- Donate value to charity partners

Recycling FAQ
Do you take projector lamps?
Yes. Lamps contain mercury and are classified as hazardous waste. We have specialized crushers that safely capture the mercury vapor and separate the glass/metal for recycling.
Do you recycle screens and mounts?
Yes, we accept all AV peripherals including motorized screens, ceiling mounts, interactive whiteboards, and cabling. Please list these items when booking your collection.
Is my data safe?
Modern projectors often store Wi-Fi passwords and network configs. We factory reset every board. If the unit has an internal hard drive (media servers), we physically destroy the drive platter or wipe it to DoD standards.
